Why Duplicate Files Appear After Reinstalling or Reconnecting OneDrive
Diagnose folder remapping, repeated uploads, and conflict copies after setting up OneDrive again.
A fresh OneDrive setup often meets an old local folder, an existing cloud library, or both. If the folder mapping changes or the user copies data into the new root, the service can end up with separate items that look like a mirrored library.

Reconstruct the setup change
