How to Remove Duplicates from OneDrive Personal

Personal OneDrive libraries often mix camera uploads, device backups, email attachments, and working documents. The same file can appear several times for legitimate historical reasons, so a large duplicate count is not itself a cleanup instruction.

Make the final decision
Keep the copy in the folder you actually use and consider whether another item owns a link or useful history. Export the plan and make a small recoverable batch. Cloud capacity may update later than the file view, especially while items remain in the recycle bin.
