Terms of Service
ClearCopies helps users find exact duplicate candidates in connected cloud storage using metadata and hashes supplied by the provider.
Users remain responsible for reviewing retained copies and selected copies before any cleanup action. The MVP does not permanently delete files.
A paid cleanup pass is a one-time operation for the reviewed selection shown before checkout; it is not a subscription. Files that changed, disappeared, or no longer match the recorded fingerprint are skipped rather than moved.
Connecting a drive gives ClearCopies access to change its files. That access is used only by a cleanup you have paid for. A cleanup that has run cannot be undone by ClearCopies; moved files stay in the provider's recoverable trash for as long as the provider keeps them.
Purchases on clearcopies.com: if you're not satisfied, we'll refund you in full within 30 days.
Purchases made in the iOS or Android app are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies.
